Jacqueline Washington is a U.S. Army veteran who served in military intelligence and later discovered her love for storytelling, music, and uplifting young minds.
Stone Soup is her second children’s book, inspired by the spirit of unity she finds at her own family’s dinner table. Jacqueline lives in Louisa, Virginia, with her husband of 30 years and their four children. When she’s not writing, she’s helping fellow veterans build sustainable careers and find their voices in their own communities.
